چکیده
Purpose The aim of this article is to describe the efficiency and biomechanics entire arch distalization with lingual appliances mini-implant anchorage two case reports.Material Methods overbite was corrected by brackets archwires advantage bite plane effect. severe overjet eliminated upper using anchorage.Result After 20 24 months treatment, normal were achieved Class I canine molar relationship. One-year post-retention records confirmed stability treatment outcome. Conclusion Mini-implants in combination may have possibility distalizing whole one phase correct excessive deep overbite.

Comparison of Skeletodental Changes Occurring during Deep Overbite Correction with Mini-Implant Anchorage System
Deep overbite has potentially detrimental effects on mandibular and temporomandibular joint function and periodontal health as well as esthetics. Incisor intrusion can be achieved with various treatment modalities. The most commonly used is the utility arch technique. In mini-implant anchorage system, forces can be applied to produce tooth movement in any direction without detrimental reciproca...
متن کاملCorrection of severe tooth rotation by using two different orthodontic appliances: Report of two cases
BACKGROUND AND AIM: Severe rotation of tooth is one of the most common problems in orthodontics and considered as a developmental phenomenon. These rotations can cause cosmetic problems, gingival recession, and traumatic occlusion. By using removable appliances, severe rotations can be treated. Furthermore, gingival damage, tooth attrition, and transposition of other teeth could be prevented. E...
متن کاملBilateral en-masse distalization of maxillary posterior teeth with skeletal anchorage: a case report
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to introduce a new method for bilateral distal movement of the entire maxillary posterior segment. CASE REPORT A 17-year-old girl with Class I skeletal malocclusion (end-to-end molar relationships, deviated midline and space deficiency for left maxillary canine) was referred for orthodontic treatment. She did not accept maxillary first premolars extraction....
متن کاملMini-implant anchorage for en-masse retraction of maxillary anterior teeth: a clinical cephalometric study.
INTRODUCTION This study was conducted to determine the efficiency of mini-implants as intraoral anchorage units for en-masse retraction of the 6 maxillary anterior teeth when the first premolars are extracted compared with conventional methods of anchorage reinforcement. METHODS Thirty patients requiring high anchorage after extraction of the maxillary first premolars were selected for this s...
متن کاملMaxillary molar intrusion with fixed appliances and mini-implant anchorage studied in three dimensions.
The intrusion of an overerupted maxillary molar using traditional orthodontic treatment is a real challenge. The aim of this study was to investigate the envelope of intrusive movements of a maxillary molar in cases using mini-implants as anchorage with partial or full-mouth fixed edgewise appliances. The cusp tips of the pretreatment and postintrusion dental casts were recorded by a three-dime...
